It's ideal apart from the price and I dont think it will go over 5k Im coming to UK tmw for a few days shopping
Yes it's mine. Wondered how long before someone would spot the 675.cc stickers. Prices seem quite high at the moment and so trying my luck as I'm not getting much opportunity to get out due to moving house and loads of domestic tasks. Looking at all the other ads on ebay the price is about right. There isn't much below 5k whether it be 06,07 or 08 and it's mileage, condition and accessories that are more relevant. I'm convinced that it'll be difficult to get a better cared for bike. If it doesn't sell no-bother. Yep, forgot about that but I never liked the end cap, just looks like a bit of stuck on tat at the end of a nice stainless can. The carbon end looks much better and more purposeful on the titanium arrow. Baffle is purely cosmetic to give the appearance of a legal can. It's one of the generic baffles from ebay that I filed down to open any distruptions to the air-flow which could lead to mis-fueling. Method in the madness
Noticed that someone has hit the Buy it now button on Markirel's bike. Well done on the sale mate. Shows what a well written and presented advert can do!
Or... a mate hit it as it went from a 3k bid to buy it now Did it sell for that amount and if so, well done to your sir!
Genuine sale and the bike has just been ridden away by a very happy new owner. He couldn't risk missing out on it and so when the bidding started, hit the buy it now to secure. We both got a good deal, he got an outstanding bike and I got a good price. I now have to work out if one of the three street triple R's I am watching is really on the cards or if I should stick with a break from bikes until there is a better chance for me to use it.
Good work there mate, makes me feel I got a bargain when I bought mine about 8 weeks ago, pretty much identical miles and condition, less the carbon goodies. Go for the s'tripp'r mate, you know it makes sense No point saving the money with inflation the way it is!
erm... Took it off the market shortly after putting it on, decided I wanted to keep it so it's never been on eBay etc. The only reason this thread is alive still is because we keep talking about other peoples bikes
To be fair, I think you'd get close to your asking price now if you were prepared to do a bit of haggling. This weather is definately bringing people out to buy, as demo'd by the one sold - good ones will go!
He did So hi to everyone, I was planning to change my CBR600 last year but some stuff came up and so never got around to it. Initially I was looking at another CBR but I've got a mate with the 1050 speed triple and so started looking into triumph. I think I've done about 250 miles already and pretty impressed with it and it's a huge change from the CBR with regards to the smoothness and the sound... We took the baffle out early to try but put it back for now, lol I know there are cheaper 675's but as said previously, a well written pitch makes all the difference. If someone hasn't put any effort into it then you have to ask if they put the effort into looking after the bike? Sorry, should've been quicker... I did wait hoping someone would buy it before me but got tired of seeing it taunting me
Yeah, I think its the best colour and a shame triumph no longer does it. Not many for sale either so this came up at the right time. Only problem is I have a small flat which is now filled with the original bits, plus the extras Mark threw in but at least the tank bag should be good for the KFC drive-thru run.
Welcome Paul!!....I like your way of thinking...£5200 for what is essentially a brand-new bike....well done!
lol, dont you think I spent enough for a few months Na, I'd love to go but I'm going to be busy the next couple of months to make what I spent on the bike, lol That's the thing, I was looking at others that were cheaper but by the time you spend out on the accessories you'd still be close to the price I paid.
Hey Paul, pleased to hear you got back safely and that you are enjoying the bike, hope the rain held off for you. Also really pleased you joined the forum as there is a really good community here. The ride out to Derbyshire will be great if you could stretch to make it. Take good care of the bike. Mark
