Hello all, Having a bit of a sort out of my loft and I’ve accumulated a few bits that I either had installed on my bike before dismantling it for a service and some TLC over 6 years ago and still haven’t got round to putting it all back together, or have some bits that I haven’t installed yet for the above reason. Anyhow, during that time I was able to pick up a Sargent Seat that fits the 1st Gen (08-12) bikes, both R and non-R variants. I’ve had it briefly on and off the bike a couple of times but it’s never actually been ridden by me. I can’t quite remember if I picked it up off this forum or one of the Facebook groups I’m on but it has been used by the previous owner. I can confirm that the humped seat cowl will fit as I tried it with mine. All that being said, it’s in great condition albeit a minor mark on the rear passenger section and the usual marks you’d expect with use/age. The stitching is immaculate, no rips or tears to the leather and it’s in a healthy condition as you can see from the pictures. I’d be looking to let this go for £250 plus postage which I anticipate to be in the region of £25 due to size and weight. I’m not in any great rush to sell this and these are quite hard to get hold of unless you buy brand new for an extortionate amount so I’m not really going to be budging on the price. My reason for selling is I’m going to be running a slightly different set up on the rear and it doesn’t really go with the look I’m aiming for. I’ve got a second standard seat that I’m going to be getting recovered and will work with the seat cowl I’ll be running. I’ve attached the pictures and one with my name (appreciate it’s not my username as I was originally intending on flogging it via Facebook marketplace but thought I’d offer it here first). I can of course do a fresh picture with my username/date instead and get any other pictures requested. Thanks for taking a look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Having almost 100k miles on my Street Triple, i think i have gotten fairly comfortable with the stock seat arrangement now But i was really tempted by these back in the early days as they always got great reviews. Will be a nice upgrade for a lucky someone.
