that looks like they finaly released the revamped version and looks a good stand too
around £230 aswell so £100 cheaper than the 1 jac's promotion price
still too dear for me at the moment but i might be tempted at the right time

3. Looks like a nicer version of mine, which folds flat for storage (which is a useful feature). I paid £160 for mine, but £230 is a good price as well. I'd pay £230 for one of those if I didnt have one.

They are very useful for storing or positioning the bike against a wall or corner of a room. I like mine.

Is be happy to speak to the guys at 1jac about a group buy if people are interested. To see what they could offer price wise.

You then only have a call to Leeds for support and a better looking stand IMHO.

8. Oh ok, didn't know it was a special price. Thought it was just a good price at the time so went for it.

if you could that would be great

10. lol they are industrial use Exhibition Tiles so can withstand vehicles driving over them. And they are oil resistant, so I like them.

I've got three huge Keter Sheds which hold all my crap, the garage is then left showroom condition (although its only small). So its not staged :D

The Constand didn't seam to have any separately available adaptors for other bikes.

Hi guys i had a chat with the guys at 1Jac and they had a few points they are happy for me to pass on.

Chris at 1Jac has said they could do the lift for £339 for anyone on 675cc who is interested. THey understand its a big investment but said its designed to last a lifetime and 100% safe on our bikes. I also learnt that the Demon Tweeks lift is imported from Sumo Moto in China, the same place where Sebastian Bursig imports his from. Personally I wouldn’t trust my bike on either given my recent experience with Chinese metal work.

· All British using top grade materials, same as British Aerospace use
· Manufactured in Leeds, Yorkshire and proud!
· Our customer service 24/7
· Speak to Nigel Vause direct who is the original inventor and engineer in our workshop
· If the bike is liftable with 2 pick-up points, we will design a bespoke kit for your bike
· It’s a ‘one off’ purchase, if you change your bike you just change your kit which we will do a part exchange for from £35
· Two year warranty on parts, lifetime no quibble
· We are nice people to do business with

They are at the London bike show and then he said off to Holland show in Utrecht

I imagine if a whole load of people are interested post up and and we could try bargaining power!

15. It is expensive but does look good kit, if its designed to last a lifetime then why only two year warranty on parts. If they trust their work to last a lifetime then should it not be covered a lifetime.

16. I'll carry on using my Chinese (bought from Germany no doubt passing their stringent safety regulations) £160 bike lift made out of Straw then. Its so wobbly I'm surprised it hasn't killed me already. Bending and flexing everywhere. So medieval and primitive.

But for £160 what do you expect... Oh well, I'll have to hope it stays in the same perfect working order for the next 18 months or more

... and for those of you who think my photo's are staged.... yes that is a 11lb Nitrous Oxide (NOS) bottle in the background ha ha  ... bring on the POWER

i do understand the better you build something the more expensive the build is but suerly they are making a masive profit on them
yes they maybe spent a long time developing it but the actual material costs and a few hours labour assembling it
im sorry but for the average everyday person £300 +is a lot of money the last few months my monthly wage has more or less every month has not covered the outgoing bills while im not on what i would consider to be the average take home pay (god knows how they get that figure) im on more than minimum wage so icant understand how people can bring up a family on such a low income never mind buy a stand for there bike at over £300
lets face it theres many people taking home less than £300 a week
if a fitting kit for different bikes is £35 upwards exchange how much is it to buy outright if you have more than 1 bike and want to keep the supplied fittings

Its all good and well saying you cant bring up a family on 300 quid a week, but being able to afford some snazy bike lift that you dont actually need is a bit different! Lol. If its too expensive dont buy it!

You were totally correct when you said : "..im sorry but for the average everyday person £300 +is a lot of money"
With that in mind, perhaps read my post # 20 in this thread.: https://www.675.cc/675/viewtopic.php?p=265208#p265208
If we all buy the Chinese versions, then logically eventually we will not be able to afford them either.

When did logic with regards to money ever apply to motorcycles.

Me and whole bunch of friends would all own our own houses by now with the money we have spent on motorcycling.
