I got my 1jac assembled and fitted to the bike this morning.

To say I'm chuffed is understatement makes moving, cleaning and looking at the bike so much easier!

Just cleaned her on it then wheeled it back into garage and tucked her away.

The guys there have been really helpful and even dropped it off as they aren't far from me in Leeds.

I'll get the missus to video me putting and taking bike off later. Piece of piss!

The shuttle for lifting. 1Jac are sending me a black lug to match frame next week.

So badly want one!! However the price puts me off so I had to invest in some new paddock stands! Not nearly as fun as this thing lol!!

The guys at 1jac made me a lug kit especially to check figment and then I'm getting a black lug next week. It's good to know their customer service is so good. I text them this morning to check torque settings and got a reply in 20 mins!

But iirc BDTD & Dino pointed out in an earlier thread that the 1jac version is a Uk manufactured product. That (together with what sounds like excellent customer attention ^^ ) should count for a lot gary1966.

Exactly right StM. I don't want to email someone and wait a month for a response. They are so well built I hope that they really take off and the price can drop a bit. If these were £250 they'd sell by the truck load I imagine.

Here's the bike tucked out of the way in garage which I'm cleaning today. Only a small thing but I can at least wheel to other side when I need to without pulling the bike out into the pissing rain.

They do let you specify colour too Gary I should add so you can get white and red to match the bike if you want.

  13. That looks like an awesome piece of kit! Any idea if they're going to be at the excel center London bike show?

  14. Just checked, yes they are.

ive sent a few emails regarding the 1 demon tweekes sell and im told the daytona 1 should be available soon so if more people ask from different suppliers then they might get it out a bit sooner i would love 1 but just cant pay £300+ for 1

I am the same its all well and good keeping it uk based but £125 compared to £330 is a huge diffrence, dont get me wrong if the build quality of the 1jac is alot better than d tweeks i would go for 1jac.

  18. I had a good look at it up at the NEC Gary and I can tell you it looks more solid than a solid thing, 2 year parts and labour guarantee and a lifetime defect warranty, if I hadn't bought an abba stand a couple months before I seen I would have got one, how much do abba stands fetch?

Yer the build quality is good my mate has one its just the £200 more it costs over the warrior stand, I will get one or the other in the next few months.

IMO no matter how well organised & efficient a UK manufacturer is, if they treat their employes fairly they will never be able to compete on price & stay in business.

Do you fancy being "highly paid" at £ 130 per month.?

If we allow globalisation of trade make every purchase primarily on price, we will probably all get to trial that level of income when our protective bubble really bursts.
