£22 for fitting to a loose rim

    Does that sound expensive? It's at a dealer's, so considering they probably charge £70/hour labour, I guess it isn't that high. Considering ride in/out was £30 I thought it would have been nearer £15.
     
  2. well expensive ! i got mine done for £15 at watling tyres which included balancing aswell

    THought it sounded pricey. Are those £10 - 15 prices for tyres you bought elsewhere? Or from the tyre place?
     
  10. I bought tyres elsewhere and took them and the loose wheels in.
     
  11. I walked in with new tyres i had bought from a mate up north..
     
  12. Normally £20 for a pair including balancing with old tyres still on the rim :shock:
     
  13. £12 a wheel for fitting a balancing.

    Ordered tyres from elsewhere. We took the wheels off, then he took the old tyres off, put the new tyres on and rebalanced - £15 a pair.
