For what?...a dealer stamp is only of use to the next person who owns the bike, if there is one...total waste of time & money IMO.

  7. Unless you have 2 years warranty to maintain... Given its a Triumph and anything can fk up in two years costing from a few quid to a few hundred.. worth getting the stamp. Ater that I Agree with D41!

Hmmm...about the response I expected..dunno how the dealers are over there, but over here they don't seem to care..they're guaranteed to be paid for the work by Triumph, so they are usually prepared to obfuscate a tad, if it benefits themselves & the customer.

Hold on....You bought the bike, it's your pride and joy, it makes you smile, it never says NO, never argues and just shakes it's head every now and then......If thats not worth treating it to some TLC i dont know what is? You dont have to buy it a card, tell it you love it, or cuddle it, they are all optional!!.......Take it to the dealer for a service, treat it with love x

  13. Jeezuz wept... Im already looking at my 12K mile service in a few weeks at this rate.. And another set of tyres.. Anyone had their 12k recently and whats was the damage $$$

    Dam this gets expensive.

    Blimey!

Mines a 2008 Masterbike and I've only just topped 3.5k on the clocks! On the plus side I was browsing the Autotrader the other day and there are a couple of M/bikes on there all for more than I paid for mine and all knocking up 6k+ on the clocks. Seems I got a bargain when I bought my bike!

See if you can come to an arangment with your dealer that you do the simple stuff and leVe the rest to him to keep the price down and still get a stamp. He will probably insist you buy the parts from him.

  16. Thats a good idea!... Although back home in the Mids they would more than likely go for this.. but not so sure abou these guys in London. At the end of the day they got me by the short and curlys to get the stamp. Although you never klnow unless you try.

  17. Know anyone you can stay with in stourbridge you could stay the night with and arrange something with a dealer in Wolves or Brum? Another road trip for you............ okay so not as flash as France etc
