Every case is different, it may be a trapped nerve? Have you been back to your GP or had any physical treatment? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It will get better it will just be scar tissue healing, it does take time I did mine in jan 2009 in has only be better proberly in last 6 months. But stick with riding the bike I would say as it did help me build strength back up in my wrists, but as I said each case is different. As my scar is now one my right wrist left is much the same. My solicitors are doing loads for my case the police said it was the other driver who pulled out on to me. How long for you pay day
Fwiw I banged my shoulder up badly last june, it's still painful but is getting lots better - and that's after initial 6 months of physio. Stick with it and excercise lots. No pay day here, on mtb when the nasty happened :? .
Police same as your case found the woman take pulled out on me at fault . It's been long time as doctors and solicitor have been looking at the long term effects. And as I couldn't do anything for myself for 3 months are taking this in to account. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Brrrrrrr, sends shivers down my spine seeing your R6. The reason I got rid of mine was that I was sick of nearly killing myself on it every five minutes. Great round the track but when it came to an emergency stops and stuff the bike never stopped and alwys skidded all over the place.
Thought i would share this one with you. I high sided my 750k6 coming out of the roundabout i was just draggin my knee round. unconscious for 1.5 hrs, 8wks off work and only just got back on a bike.
Idracab - Pedrosa wannabe? That's taking things a bit far, no? BTW, Who did that for you? farebro - make sure you tell the doc's all about it - type/character of pain, where, when (?triggers), any associated numbness/tingling/weakness. early days, but worth them knowing & reviewing. hope it is nothing serious & settles soon! oh, and make sure you're utilising some painkillers (at least paracetamol regularly). let us know how you get on.
I think we're not supposed to (confidentiality/data protection), but I might happen to look away on occasions, too. I meant, "where did you get the op? / who did the op?" rather than the Xray. Best way, to have a list, then you don't forget anything. Have a think about the particulars, to help them get a better idea if there's anything worrying. & Remember that Physio is like homework - they show you the exercies, but you need to do them every day, no matter how annoying, & they can tell if you haven't. Nasty break, but looks a good fix. (Not surprised it's sore) Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. Hope it settles soon!
Doh!! I had the op at central middlesex hospital by Mr Lehndorff and his crack team of super surgeons. By my reckoning it not a bad job apart from the small gap under the plate nearest the shoulder and the screw that hasn't been screwed in all the way and looks as if they could of used a counter sink. In fairness though they did tell me that it was one of the worst they had seen and took them an hour to straighten out, they were about to trim the bone to make it fit back. Are you a surgeon then????
Mr Lehndorff is a great guy & surgeon. He was the main trauma guy there, last I knew. You're in good hands. A good job, as that plate started life straight & flat, & he has both bent & twisted it to fit your bone (collarbone is s-shaped & not a flat surface on top). So, to get a good bite, the screws may not go in perpendicular to the plate, leading the screw heads to look proud on certain views. And, you don't want them too long / sunk more, as you have your brachial plexus (nerves to arm) & vessels right under the bone! (possibly Pedrosa's problem) Get well soon!
