    Hi

I seem to be having a issue around the 5k revs, the bike feel fine to ride but if am holding the revs at 5k it seems to feel like there’s a power cut where the revs drop and come back and go and come back a few times then all off a sudden it stops go back to normal and then starts again happens in all gears.

I’ve plugged it into tune ecu but can’t seem to find anything out off place.

Am a bit baffled to what it could be any suggestions would be greatfull

    Thanks
    Chirag

    Will be an adaption issue

As you've got tuneecu you'll want to reset the adaption, at which point you'll then need to do from cold the 20 minute idle, start the bike and leave to idle, a blue box should appear in the bottom right corner of the tuneecu screen.

    That'll fix your issue

Have you done any work on your bike before the issue popped up?

I’ve actually been looking at that today and I’ll be trying it when I get home

I did a oil and filter change, I changed the cracked headers to a new set off headers (standard ones) had to mess about with the exup valve.

I originally thought it was the valve not set up correctly but I reset it again on Sunday with the same issue.

Could be, but having had many issues at the 5k rpm mark it's most likely an adaption issue.

I’ve just tried to reset it but as soon as I click reset adaption it says it’s done straight away but I don’t think it’s done it

That's perfectly normal. Now what you need to do is start the bike without touching the throttle and let idle for at least 20 minutes

If you watch the tuneecu screen you'll see a green light to say it's connected. A blue light will appear when adaption is complete, should eliminate the 5k wobble

It’s been going for about 20mins already but no blue light, which I believe should be on the left off the voltage I’ll give it another 10 and then go for a quick ride

Great news, we've all pretty much had the 5k wobble at one point or another.

Glad it's all working right now

It did feel a lot smoother but that maybe due to me tighten the chain slack
