Just reading and curious if there was any downblippers on the market for the daytona 675 and came across this from a company called proshift, who seem to be a pretty big name in the market.
    https://www.proshift.com/shop/bike-system/ps2-rr-with-dbw-or-remote-cable-blipper/

They offer a kit for the 675 with cablethrottle or drive by wire and see there facebook post here that its installed on a 675 cable throttle:

    Anyone looked into this before?
Looks like it would work on a Gen 1 06-08 daytona too. Would i be right in saying this would be the same as an s1000rr that has the downblipper etc?

Any thoughts on it or anyone installed this yet and real world views?

I've seen a system like this before but from an Italian company. It was very expensive AFAIKR.

Thabks for the bikehps link must have a look at that now. Yea it wont be cheap but an awesome upgrade. Sure how much so people spend on suspension and exhaust upgrades which can cost more.

The down blipper would be a gamechanger on the 675.

I’ve only been riding for over a year so my opinion maybe stupid, but I think I’d rather have a down blipper over an exhaust system as it seems more practical then anything

  7. Just messaged them as they are around the corner from me. Will try and obtain one for testing

Thought you needed fly by wire to have a down blipper?

They've got round that with a mechanical system. Quite clever really but seems complicated?

The IRC system isn't that hard to understand. Two cables in a junction box, one controlled by you and the other on a solenoid. Program the control box to either road/race shift, set sensitivity, etc and away you go. Perk of the system is that the sensor is a strain gauge for more acurate actuation and also acts as a QS.

£754... now we just need clever TC, engine modes and electronic suspension to add to our 675’s...

While it does seem a tad expensive, having ridden a BMWS1000rr this year with an autoblipper, I can confess it’s definitely a very nice thing to have on your bike - and I missed it when I got back on my 675r (bit like going from a bike with a slipper clutch, to a non slipper clutch shod bike)

    Added to my want list...

Could you put up some details @philly46 and let us know your thoughts?

    - Cost,
    - Ease of install: for road or race ?
    - Year of your 675
    - Does the blipper work seamlessly.
    - Your settings just in case myself or someone else buys and can dial in yours.

I'll drop you a pm too if that is ok?

Looking forward to hearing about the IRC one.

    Thanks,

    - Cost - Trade
    - Ease of install - Twat
    - Year of your 675 - 2010
    - Does the blipper work seamlessly - Yes

It transforms the 675 on corner entry helping it seamlessly go down the box without the clutch but as a universal product it took a lot of time and effort to manage the install and then dial in the settings.
