( i think i know the problem not sure tho would like some help)

I have just got a new Daytona 675R 2014 i just have fitted a Austin racing exhaust GP2 style, I also got the first service done and got the Arrow factory tune map(bike has 2400km on it atm), due to the exhaust it has been going all well But i have started to notice a flat spot in the revs if i climb up to 7.5k-9.0k rpm anywhere in that range and punch the throttle it dies out for like 1 second and then pulls Is this a normal thing? i know they have a flapper for the intake but that opens up around 4-5,000rpm right?

Or should i just fork out money and get a power commander or something like that.

I know with stock tune and this exhaust they run really lean.

  2. You will need to fit a PC or a Bazzaz which I believe are cheaper and have the bike mapped correctly

How much for a map once you have a PCV?

  4. A custom tune is £199.00 or generic is £137.00

  5. I'm a bit confused but I believe you could just plug in ECU tune from a laptop to the connection port under your seat and upload the proper map from there, it would just be the price of the cable, £10 at most.

Also I believe when fitting an exhaust it's possible the ECU will adjust it self if you leave the bike to idle for a while, I think they call it the 12 minute tune.

You start the bike, don't touch the throttle, let it idle until the fan comes on and then leave it for 12 minutes and then switch the bike off and it's done.

  6. Not on a 2012+ bike you can't, the ECUs are locked

Is the generic tune a triumph map i.e standed or arrow map?.
