Jeez, that’s a fair old slap – not sure id have the motivation to do that every day. Remember throwing a few sickies when I was going to Cambridge every day and that was "only" a 75 mile round trip. Down to 25 each way now which is a doddle if it wasn’t for the obvious. 250 a week, 1000 a month.
Where abouts are you Oakley if you don't mind me asking? What are the winters like? Any road salt used? Cheers
Just sold my 04 blade with 62 k miles on to but my 13 trippler... 50 mile daily commute but I also have gixxer 1000k4 as my commuter now.., that was my "fair weather " bike 04 with 23k on soon rising until it's dry and I use my new baby
I bought a 11 plate 675 and put 15k on it in 18 month I put 6k on my 2013 D675r in 5 months. We tend to sell our bikes within a year or two as we put so many miles on them / fancy something new Currently got a new Z1000SE which I got in Dec and have done only 100 miles as weather Boltic in Aberdeen.
This was a popular thread. Thinks it's a tribute to just how strong these engines are and last for to be honest. 35k isn't too bad just look after her and she will look after you, that's what I say!
