What has everyone else had to pay for the 2nd year service?, mines due and she also needs front brake pads-bikes just done just over 5k... I'll tell you what my main local dealer quoted me when i see what you guys say.....
With the 675 Annual or every 6k service, it's oil/filter and a few visuals, at a dealer I'd say around the £140 mark?
My local dealer is £129 interim, £399 major and £549 full. Front pads will set you back about £55 too. I got my full service for about £400 though at a independant shop that races 675's so knows the bike just as well.
If you go to a dealer they may well try and get you to pay the £400 service even though you don't need to have your valve clearences checked, just because it's 2 years old. Say no thankyou.
Carpel wins, Dealer wants over 400pounds!!!!, my mate who works/owns a garage has quoted me 260 all in inc brake pads (and thats not the mates rate), gonna fit power commander and re-dyno her at same time aswell
The service guys at my dealer were very honest about it and said not to bother getting the valve clearances checked as even though it's' 2 years old, it hasn't done enough mileage. I've had a few dealings with the guys in the service bay now at Ongar Motorcycles..... top guys
Where can i find the service schedules? As im not sure which service mine is due next. Its 06 plate and has done 6k miles.
Got my 2nd service at 6k at the dealers- Cobb & jagger, Bradford, last July, cost me £116.72 inc VAT, didn't need brake pads.
Hi d8mok, just click on this link to the official Triumph Service Schedule for the 675; http://www.triumph.co.uk/media/Daytona6 ... arch06.pdf
Shouldn't think u need anythin other than the basic 6k service, apart from maybe fresh coolant, and a good check-over. the bike's hardly been out so nothing should be fouled.
