For those of you who haven't ridden either circuit at Brands hatch seriously do it you are missing out big time! When you come screaming through paddock hill bend you experience one of the best negative to postive G force experiences ever beats the shit out of every theme park in the land IMO. You can't appreciate just how steep it really is until you ride it and winding off just as you tip in at the end of the Brabham Straight your whole world just changes. The first time I did Paddock Hill at speed last night I thought my arse was going to come out of my throat  It is single handedly the most amazing experience I have ever had on a bike and the more you do it the more you want to get faster and faster until you get so excited that you forget to downshift into 3rd and take the corner in 4th carrying way too much speed like I did last night was lucky not to end up in the kitty litter.

Seriously though folks I can't recommend riding that circuit enough I managed to get my lines perfect from Graham Hill through Surtees and into clear ways I just need to work on paddock hill more and the corner up the top I forget it's name. Definitely going back to do that again as soon as possible really massively enjoyed it and the mrs did a fantastic job as pit chick last night was pure impressed and she got some mega cool videos too.

My first timed lap was 1:25, next lap 1:22, next lap 1:18 next lap 1:18 and then I was lapping consistent 1:18's for most of the night I know that is massively slow compared to most of you fine gents but I was really pleased with it as only my 2nd Track day and the 1st on a Daytona. What a machine on track the 675 is even at my humble pace I managed to embarrass and lap quite a few big Ducati's 848's 1098's all fell victim to the Daytona as did a couple of Honda's and Gixers. Seriously though the value for money is something else I definitely recommend doing it folks it is an experience you'll never forget. :D

  4. I did brands the panther month and just wanted to keep going lovely track I will be going back ASAP. My best time was 57.46 sec that was my first time at brands but I was watching a racer on a Daytona do 46 sec approximately how can they go so much faster

Those are bloody good times dude way better than mine! I will get faster in time was just taking baby steps as that was only my second track day last one was RH two years ago and my first on a daytona first of many though love it can't wait to go back. Let us know when you're planning on going next dude I will be up for tagging along although I'm sure you're in inters/fast with those times but a sub minute lap of brands is a prize worthing being very proud about.

Don't know which line you were using into Padddock Nick, but if you aim for the Marshalls hut and turn in late you get a great apex and you're on the power a lot earlier, if your body position is good its pretty much a guaranteed knee down through there.

Glad you had a good time, but what happened to you R19? Hope you're ok and if you went down the bikes not too knocked about. :|

P.S. have no idea what times I've done at any track, always too busy to push the little button.

  7. I was pleased with the times but like you say u will get faster with the more days u do I still have lots to improve on and hopefully once I start doing that I'll be even faster

Cheers Dave appreciated yeah think my approach was too shallow into Paddock Hill I should start wide and bring it in but I'll work on that next time for certain. I want my knee down in Paddock hill I just touched it in clearways last night but I need it in Paddock Hill. My line out of Druids is better although got stood up a couple of times by dickheads on Super Motos going through druids I really loathe seeing super motos on track they don't really belong there.

 Know what you mean bro, we were at Cadders a couple of years back and the Supermoto's boys were having a game with getting their foot on the other side of the apex cone, totally different lines to everyone else. Nightmare!

  10. Ahh rub it in. Have not done brands yet as at mercy of my mate and his van. :(.
Hope too meet a few of u on track soon, a load of triumphs hooning it :) will sound good.

It would be epic if we can get a few of us down there dude I'll speak to Mick see if we can go about organising a mini forum TDO? Would be a right giggle and I am so up for riding Brands again that's for sure.

  12. Would be good, my lift would have 2 yamahas in it tho, won't ride there, track then ride home. Hmmm I best sort some tyres. Need sun too :) :).

I got a bit cocky. Front washed on Druids. Still not 100% what happened, pushed my front a bit to much. Live and learn. Bikes reasonable.

  14. The first time I got my knee down on paddock I screamed with excitement in my lid. I'm sure my mate could here me on the back if the pit wall. He could see something was up as I was also bouncing up and down on the bike. Although I'm trying to work out what is best paddock or getting my left knee planted in both left handers something I have been trying to do for a long time. Now it happens all the time. Now under 58s need to work on clear ways entry

Paddock hill is the jewel in the crown it has to be said. To be perfectly honest dude I would be doing the same thing if it were me too  Graham Hill is a funny one I always tense up as I tip in thinking how much grip do I have on that cold left side  Looking at my tyre last night lots of graining and marbling on the right side the left was starting to go but you can see how much punishment the right hand side gets there compared to the left.

I was pumping my fist in excitement when I got my knee down on paddock hill. A couple seconds later I'm looking at my bike sparking away sliding away from me at Druids.

Paddock hill is where an old Triumph sprint with soggy suspension chasing a GSXR 600 will bottom out twice ....
