If you really wanted the stormtrooper look, try real leather replica.... Or maybe batman is more your thing.... http://www.udreplicas.com/
Thanks but I'm not deliberately trying to look like Batman, Darth Vader, StormTrooper or X-Men. Just trying to get nice bike gear that is somewhat colour co-ordinated. Just getting it wrong by the looks of it lol. Anyways, I went out to my Dainese Store this morning and bought the gloves. Apparently they are the ones Valentino Rossi wears (albeit his is slightly modified in colour) Looks quite nice in white. Titanium protection, Carbon Fibre protection, sliders & finger exo-skeleton, Kevlar stitching etc.
Thanks, yeah they are the Dainese Full Metal Pro 2012 model. The 2013 replacement model is the Dainese Full Metal RS. But I didnt want to pay the extra, and they didnt have the colour combination that I wanted in the 2013 model glove. Titanium knuckles should be able to punch right through a car window I reckon ha ha
They're real nice was looking at a pair myself a lil while back! May revisit the idea as I'm looking at a one piece soon, it'll have to be coordinated with the bike too, decision decisions!
Thank god I'm not the only one out there then Dainese gloves are absolutely lush. Real soft leather, loads of feel and grip. My old gloves that are absolutely battered are the same ones, just a much older model. They've lasted years As I saved £100 on my Alpinestars Carver suit, I put that money towards my gloves. So a nice package really.
Nice gloves those...can't fault Dainese. I have the Joust...the previous version of Druids...those palm and Distortion Control plastic panels did a great job when I slid down the track. Yes they are lush, but not as lush as yours
Just to top this thread off, More pictures and details of my Alpinestars Carver suit and gloves here https://www.675.cc/675/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14845 Thanks
The Spidi suits are really good. I struggled to find something that felt comfortable but ended up with the T-2 wind pro and its perfect..... If maybe a little snug since Christmas..... Here you go, have a laugh on me!
Currently trying to convince Mrs P that I really do need a better two piece. I really hanker after the obsolete Triumph black and white one so looking for something similar. Plus I've been pointing out all the super, money saving, special offers that Dodge has on ATM. Not got past the rolling eyes and snorts of derision so far. I have an RST 2 piece suit and also an Alpinestars MX1 one piece suit. The 2 piece suit is convenient (plenty of pockets and you can take the jacket off obviously) but I feel much more comfortable and safe in the Alpinstars 1 piece suit, the leather is noticeably thicker but far supple.
