Castrol Power 1 Racing 4T 10w/40

What do people think about this oil? Is it a good choice? I'm thinking of using this as its fully synthetic?

The S1000 runs this as standard but in 5w 40w.

 

I've put this in my STR on t last service I did, bought it on Fleabay for around £28

 

It's fine...up until a few years ago when Triumph signed it's contract with Castrol, that was the oil they recommended.

 

Sweet! Getting it from Halfords as I have a trade card. How much does it take to fill the bike up?

£9 a litre in tesco here reduced from £12.50

 

£6.20 a litre oop north

 

Do you guys want to know how much I pay for my oil????

ohhh dam it... didnt think tesco done oil knew asda did ohwell wish i knew that. got it from halfords saturday was up for £35 used my trade card went down to about£26-27 but atleast ive changed my oil filter and oil now and have changed my tyres from them soft pirellis to these new super duper michelin pilot 3's and it feels so much better wish i had got out on it today but had to do a private job :-(

 

Yep £6.20 in cambridge and use familys staff discount.... I cleared the shelf!!

 

I'm rearranging the motor oils at work later tonight I might see how much it is in my store. Haven't done an oil change yet...

 

I use it in mine, it has always run on that because that's what my dealer was using for servicing. My bike likes to use a drop of oil as well so I always keep a few for top up!!

 

Yup, the same oil is £6.20 here too as its reduced to clear. Haven't found out what's replacing it yet but I've got 12 bottles if I decide to buy it all lol

 

I just cleared the shelf in Southampton. £2.73 a bottle!!!Bargin.

 

I get the Shell equivelant.. oh and absolutely free!! Got 100ltrs sat in my garage

 

Down to £3.10 for me, got 12 bottles saved currently. Might knock it down to 50p manually myself. :twisted:
