I've got a frank Thomas xti suit in a UK40 fits well apart from a saggy arse and a bit loose round the knees. I'm 5:11 with 32 waist
I just tried on a rst racetec not a bad suit for the money hugs the crouch abit but im tempted. Not half as comfortable as my furygan leathers though

Alpinestars for me! I'm a 34" waist and 5ft 10" and my suit is a EU52/UK42. I can get a back protector in if I need too. I also wear UK40 Alpinestars jacket and I have a UK40 Alpinestars 2 piece. All fit me fine in my opinion.
I've been trying to decide that. Initially I am going for 3 months then have to come back for a few months before moving back there for good. The problem is, if I live in the big apple, there is NO parking so I'm going to have to scout the whole setup there to see if I could actually find anywhere to leave her I really want to take her though!!
I had exactly the same problem, really struggled to find anyone who did a suit small enough. I'm 5'8" with a 30" waist and i wear an Alpinestars MX-1 suit size 38 and it fits a treat but it was £900.
