Track/Race Seat Unit... for the road?

Anyone used a single seat unit on the road with seat foam and what it's like?

If so, what unit did you use ?

If I can away with just having one rather than keep swapping them out I will, and it will be cheaper lol

 

I've got a CRC seat unit on my road bike. It's a little on the hard side, but for the sort of short runs out that I tend to do, I can live with it.

It's going to need a lot of prep to get the paint finish nice though!

 

FYI some track-tail mouldings are designed for use with the OE seat pad, may be an option.?

 

My track tail uses the stock seat, but what about lights?

 

That will be all I use it for 95% of the time when not on track so could be a good option. I'm not worried about painting it as long as it comes black gel coat. It will be wrapped. Whats the fitment like, seen some pics where they don't meet the tank very well....

That is what I was looking at but can't find any that come in black gel coat ready for wrap they are white.
Lights - Will either be "Daylight MOT" or LED Strip Brake Light.
