Hey so had a wee accident today while out riding and looking for some help. I need a nose cone, screen, wing mirrors, grips, crashbungs and and the rear brake offset. The bike is black but will be getting sprayed at the end of the season so not to bothered about colour as long as I can still get out and about. Also looking at upgrades for it well however dont have loads of cash to spend but thinking of getting indicators, mirrors, off set and tail tidy. Has anyone got parts kicking about for sale or recommend so good upgraded part I could use instead. She is a 2011 Daytona 675 black and gold edition. Any help would be amazing. Thank you

  2. Cripes, I wouldn't describe that as a "wee" anything. Are you OK? Looks like you had a pretty exciting ride and you'll be after a few more things than you've listed to get your poor bike looking its best again. Sorry, i offloaded all of my spares ages ago and can't offer you anything, but hope you get back on the road (and not the fields) soon.

To be honest it was one of the best rides I've had all year apart from the end. I'm all good looks worse than it was. Yeah these where just the parts I could see at the time but will strip down the bike today and see what is what. Just wanna get back out on the road asap. Thank you.

Pleased you're ok yourself, that's the main thing.
I don't think I have many of those parts, I'll take a look later. May have the screen & mirrors, but the only nosecone I have is '06.
When you say "rear brake offset" do you mean the caliper hanger ? -If so you may want to inspect the rear disc.: When I bent mine the impact also bent my rear disc.
You mention crashbungs, presumably you only need the bobbins themselves as the mounts should normally be fine.

Yeah so one side is affected. Brake disc and calipers are fine it's the rear pedal is bent. I just know them as offsets. Yeah just the fairing slider/Bobby pin is shot but if defo done its job so want to put them back on the bike. Was thinking instead of getting standard parts might be worth while upgrading some while I'm here. Nose cone is a must and a screen. Manage to ride the bike back with no problems which was a massive plus.

If the screen is the same as 2013 onwards which I’m not sure it is I’ve got one you can have for the postage.

    Front subrame.
They are prone to breaking, as they are cast alloy. For track use they are often replaced with ones fabricated from alloy plate & tubes, so that they can bend rather than snap when you crash. Fwiw I aluminium welded mine back together with my little MIG welder. If you have the broken off part it may be worth asking any local fabricator, who may well be happy to weld it for a fistfull of beer tokens. They are about £140 new from Triumph.
The brake pedal appears only bent, not broken. Imo a blow lamp & large ring spanner can soon have that serviceable, if you're not fussy.

I believe that the screen may have changed from the underseat bike like yours & the later side exhaust like Towser kindly offered.

Perfect I'll see if anyone around my area can fix it. If not I'll look for a new front subframe. Seen a guy selling a nose cone on ebay with the glass but not sure if it's the same one, just waiting on confirmation. Thank you

If that's the Pearlescant Black one, then I'm afraid that it would appear that it's for the earlier version like mine.
The easiest way to identify the two types is that the original (06-08) has a bridge across the front of the screen where the air intake tunnel meets. The later (09-12) have a complete V for the screen section, and the air intake tunnel part is a separate triangle part that fits into the bottom of that winscreen V section.
When installed on the bike,: On the older ones you just see a triangular hole with a metal mesh grill, whereas on yours (newer) you can see the three plastic louvres in front of that mesh
Hope you can follow my convoluted explanation.:oopsoops:

Yeah I seen that unfortunately there are none on ebay under 80 bucks so I have a choice either wait for months on it coming from Hong Kong or pay like 120 and wait for it from France. Anyone any idea where I could get one from the uk. Don't care if its painted or not. Thanks

I have never actually had any direct involvement with the copy fairings from the Far East, however it has been mentioned many times that the fit can be poor.
Nonetheless if you are going down that route :-??, there seems to be a UK based seller offering them on evilBay, which should speed up that delay ; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324000568375?epid=9025085303&hash=item4b6ff05437:g:wOAAAOSw0Gxd5jZr

Hey guys so the tank will need replaced was hoping a buddy of mine could fix it but no joy. I'm not sure if the fuel tank changed at all through the gens and was wondering would any 675 tank fit on my 2011 daytona? Any help/advise would be great and if you know anyone selling one.

    Thanks IMG-20210602-WA0004.jpeg IMG-20210602-WA0001.jpeg IMG-20210602-WA0002.jpeg

The tanks are interchangeable on both Daytona and ST from inception up until the major change in 2012.
However the layout of the fuel cap fixings and vents changed on the 2009 model upgrade. Because you will want to use your existing fuel cap (to maintain the single key lockset) you may therefore be best advised to choose a tank from the later version like yours.
    Hth.
