I bought a 675 engine,Ready to refit another bike. The seller said this 2008 daytona engine.
    But i dont think so.
I guess its 2013 engine. But i dont know its daytona or ST.
And i bought 2008 ST ECU WIRING HARNESS THROTTLE BODY BODIES AIR BOX.
So,If engine is 2013,Can i use 2008 ECU and WIRING HARNESS?
    Thanks every one.

  2. Looks like an 09 onwards to me. As far as I know the loom and ecu will work upto 2012. The only issue I think you'll have is the exhaust ports are oval and not round like the 06-08 models so you'll need new downpipes. If you post the engine number someone on here may be able to tell you the year and model of the engine. If not contact Triumph

    Yep, U right.
08 exhaust ports canot use.I think i met unscrupulous seller.
I'm worried the engine canot wrok with 08 ECU and WIRING HARNESS.
The engine number is 6503625.look like 2014 daytona.
    Any way ,thank u.

  4. I've got the original low mileage engine from my 2006 Daytona available.

It was removed years ago when the bike was turned into a full race machine. I have all the ancillary bits to go with it too (and a shed load of other spares too!).

  5. Everything else will work and this engine is actually an upgrade from your old one
Only thing you need to change is the exhaust headers

  6. And it is a daytona engine as all the black street triple engines had round ports

Also it’s not a 2014 daytona that’s for sure as it’s got a round heat exchanger

I never used tune ECU.but I will try.
    Thank u,have nice day!

  13. You might need to move some fuses and relays to top of the tank if you use street triple loom as they are different. Airbox just needs a bolt on bracket. Reg/rect is also in different place, on street. Street also has no exup exhaust valve. If yours is on right side front indicator, might be easier to use daytona loom.

  14. I'm pretty sure 2013 onward street triples used the oval port head with different cams.

  15. Think street triples have powder coated sumps, Daytona unpainted. Also Street triples had black starter motor.

Send them your engine number. Explain you have purchased it and just want to confirm what age and model bike it was built with.

They’ll help you out, they were super helpful to me when I was getting my track bike.
