I've had it for a couple of years, was my stepdads before, was passed to me when it got too heavy for him and I gave him the Norton dominator I was looking after for him. It fell on top of him in the garage and creased the tank, so that was repainted as part of the repair.

The worst I believe it has been is after it caught fire through spitting back through the original carb, and had to be fully rebuilt but that was before my duty of care.

  2. Painted my intake surround black and fitted an R&G rad guard. Fitted the R&G tank sliders also but forgot to take a pic.
    QS is in the post

Looks really great setup that - but with the big professional looking 44T sticker bomb fold out table, are you sure you’re not Sue Perkins in disguise?!? IMG_7295.JPG

Went for the first ride in about 6 months and put the first Australian miles (km) on it. Took it for an ID inspection before I can get it registered down here. So happy to have her back in my garage.

Bet you can’t wait to take her up Gorge Road/Cherryville/Norton summit/Fleurieu Peninsula and of course the Eagle on the hill freeway tunnels

Had half a day off work, so I could see how work on the garage roof was getting one, but builders being builders fucked off before I got home

So I decided to wash the bike and get her clean

  13. I like those swing arm protectors.? Wat are they? Can you still get them?

  14. I was going to ask what colour that was after seeing the first picture, looks completely different.
Blue and gold is a great combination though:smileup:

I do love the colour in the first pic where it looks darker

    Sorry just seen this.

They are from Triumph Race Support/UK Race Support.

Just had a look and can’t find them anymore. Have had them a good 5yrs!

    Fresh rubber mounted

Never tried the Diablo Rosso Corsas. Will soon find out

  18. You will like them! I’ve got them on my Ducati V2, nice tyre and tbf I feel they grip and warm up as much as supercorsa but don’t quite move around like the supercorsa does over rough surfaces

Finally finished (for now) tinkering with her. Lock down has been kind to making progress on the bike but not so good for riding it. That in itself has given me plenty of time to get things sorted.

So far I've got the following mods:
    Black screen
    Short black levers
R and G frame sliders (courtesy of @Wingman)
Oxford Nightrider LED indicators all round
    8x6 number plate
Freshened up the R and G tail tidy
Scorpion carbon serket exhaust with modified heat shield.
    Pillion pegs removed.

To do list, includes R and G fork sliders on order, need to source a seat cowl (think I'll go carbon), tank grips (thinking techspec snake skins) and eventually I'd like to do something with the headlight and intake trims too. I've also still got to extract the rounded bolts on the rh heel plate to swap that side over to carbon to match the lhs IMG_20200529_130407.jpeg IMG_20200529_130428.jpeg IMG_20200529_130443.jpeg IMG_20200529_130531.jpeg IMG_20200529_130538.jpeg IMG_20200529_130547.jpeg
