Put 4,200 miles on my set of Bridgestone S21 tires before it was time to replace the rear. So I installed a new S22 on the rear, and did over 100 street miles on it today. It seems a little stickier then the S22, and can easily get to the edge. It rides just fine with the S21 front.
Today I took the IAM advanced rider test on the Daytona.. The ride went really well. Although buses, lorries, bin men, slow drivers all got in the way the 675 and I managed them without any issues. Pleased... very pleased to say I passed, and with a F1rst too.
Any benefits in obtaining this apart from bragging rights, better insurance maybe? (Many, many years I was a bike instructor and didn't make any difference to my premiums)
Gave them an airing, once over as the Aprilia needs to go.. It started ok, runs ok and a bit of a clean up next week I think.
It's not an actual part to be run, the print was to verify fitment and clearances. It's designed to be CNC manufactured out of ally to house a bearing and seal. Just messing around with this at the moment as I'm a BEng grad without a job.
Well if you do finally do a finished product. Not just in Gold (sato racing). I certainly would be a customer. Nice job
It's MOT / inspection time later today for the SP, so it was taken out of storage and give a good blast to check everything works as it should. Be interesting to see how little mileage it's done in 2 years!
Without wanting to risk disappointing you 0S2 (or tempting fate) , it seems that the forecast for next week is actually looking rather warm.
