I think it was Johnstone s daytona that was having trouble starting again in the Pitstop

Sidecar race is about to get underway - live coverage now (13:00) on Manx radio via the TT app or your favourite radio player.

Here's for another quick and safe race. Will they go quicker again? Coastal fog in parts apparently has caused a 2hr delay in the starting time (the TT app had no delay) - senior race was meant to start 15mins ago, so it'll probably be either a late afternoon/evening race or maybe a Saturday race.

Just interviewed a sidecar rider - 115mph average with his daughter as passenger and he's only 71...

The senior should be WELL worth a watch on the highlights show . I won't say any more, don't want to spoil anything...

  8. Got to wait until late tomorrow night. Damn ITV make me wait.

  9. Can't believe everyone jumping on the hate wagon at hutchy on the press conference for calling Dunlop and his team out!!!

Dunlop shouldn't of been allowed to race the seniors full stop, getting DQ'd in the lesser class should of hit the red flag.

Glad the old missile is back on the podium, gutted for Hickman though 0.0

That was some presser wasn't it lol shame as it shouldn't take the gloss off whats been an epic fortnight. Racing and weather!!

  11. Was amazing it's about time people out Dunlop in his place.

He's a dirty rider, his team knew they cheated after loaning from another team.

But every engine beit being dynod or not gets checked on scrutineering. So how did it manage to change with the mods in race week.

Loved the weather there. My mate came very close to finishing top 15 in his second year but retirement at the bus stop made it a whisper of hope XD

Hope hutchy gets a full factory race engine next year to put his haters in place :)

  12. I thought Hutchy let himself and Tas down with that outburst.

Not quite sure how Dunlop is a dirty rider either.

Agreed - not sure how he's meant to be dirty, but he's stubborn as an determined, that's for sure! The TT organisers don't seem to think there was anything wrong with his bike either - not seen the press conference, but looking forward to finding it on YouTube later on.

  14. Martrain Yamaha released a statement too as it was their engine. It was a difference in cam bucket coating which provides no performance gain just durability. However now illegal as stock have to be used.

    Here we are:

Only watched it with the kiddies jumping all over me so probably missed the crux of it, but Hutchy really didn't come across that well with his short answers... Shame as he'd had such a good TT.

  16. The cam bucket thing does seem like an honest mistake as engines get shelved and then reused and regulations do change. It was disappointing to see huctchy having a moan in the press conference but knowing the effort he has had to put in just to ride again I would bet that it's just high emotions in the moment. Once it all calms down I think that he'll see three wins a good run this year.

ive never really been a FAN of hutchy's but i do respect him enormassly
never liked which way he knew how to rattle guy martin up pre race
but i actually think theres more to this than what we know from the post race press conference
we will never know whats gone on unless we know someone who was there behind the scenes
my honest opinion and ive spoke to a decent levelled rider about this is that most superstock bikes arnt really that stock which this years performance has backed up my theory
i know modern bikes are more race than road but come on theese things there racing in superstock are incredable

  18. I think hutchy was peed off with Dunlop as someone from his team had spread rumours that his R6 had oversize Pistons but nothing would be done about it as monster energy sponsor the bike plus the event. Not sure why you'd do that unless it was to rattle hutchy which I guess worked. As far as I'm aware it wasn't hutchy' team that protested dunlop's bike I think all top 3 get checked

You're right. It came across as Dunlop's team protested against hutchy
